Terms of use
This is a translation. If it differs from the Nutzungsbedingungen in German, the German version applies.
1. Who, what, for whom
Pauk is a practice program for primary-school children. It is run by Dennis Lutter, Tarpenbekstr. 84, 20251 Hamburg, Germany (see the legal notice). These terms apply to everyone who creates or uses a parent account.
2. What Pauk offers
- Parents set up children and learning apps and give their children a link to practise with.
- Pauk is free at the moment. Paid offers exist only under a separate, explicit agreement.
- Pauk is under continuous development. Features may change, be added or be removed. There is no right to Pauk being available at all times.
- The tasks are made with care, but mistakes are possible. Pauk replaces neither school nor tutoring. If you find a mistake, please write to info@pauk.fun.
3. The parent account
- Only adults may create an account.
- Only a child's legal guardian, or someone with the guardians' consent, may add the child. A nickname is enough; Pauk needs no more than a name.
- Keep your sign-in secret. A child's play link is a key: whoever knows it can play with it. Give it only to your child, and replace it with a new one if it has got into the wrong hands.
- Forming a family with other parents shares the children, apps and practice results with them. Only invite people you trust with that.
4. What is not allowed
- Using Pauk for anything other than practising with your own children, for example commercially.
- Attacking Pauk, overloading it or querying it automatically.
- Copying Pauk's content and publishing it elsewhere.
An account that breaks these rules may be suspended or deleted.
5. Rights to the content
Tasks, texts, images and software belong to the operator or are licensed from their authors. You may use them with your children within Pauk.
6. Liability
Pauk is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence Pauk is liable only for breach of an obligation without which the service cannot be used properly, and only for the damage typically foreseeable in that case. Liability is otherwise excluded.
7. End of use
- You can delete your account yourself at any time. The privacy policy says what is deleted with it.
- The operator may end Pauk or an account with four weeks' notice, or immediately for a breach of section 4. An end with notice is announced by email.
8. Changes
If these terms change, you will be told by email at least four weeks in advance. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then.
9. Privacy
Which data Pauk stores and why is set out in the privacy policy.
10. Law
German law applies. If you are a consumer habitually resident in another country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country remain unaffected. If a provision is invalid, the others remain valid.
